Are you serious!!!

So I had decided that I was going to donate plasma. We could all use extra money right? Right! So after I had been a the plasma for about two and a half hours and gone through registering stuff I find out that I will never be able to donate plasma because of the bone graft I had done in the gums of my mouth a few years ago. It is a BIOMAT company wide policy that if you have any kind of bone in your body that is not human you can never donate. The bone in my gums is cow bone. I thought that this was/is pretty ridiculous. Oh well. . . . life moves on now.

Moved in. . . ish

I am mostly moved in, kinda! I got everything moved into my apartment that I have in Logan already and in a few hours my mom and dad and sister Julie are coming down with more of my stuff and to take me shopping! I can't wait to see them. And to be all officially moved in and everything. Things will be kinda tough for a while but I am so happy and excited!

In a way I am starting a new life. It makes me nervous, but excited. I can't wait to meet new people, make more friends, and see where life in Logan takes me. It will be a grand adventure for sure!

All about attitude :D

"True happiness isn't when everything's perfect. . . it's when you can see perfection through the flaws." I truly believe this. There comes a time in everyone's life when bad things may happen, you may hit a rough patch, or things just flat out may not go as planned. But, that doesn't matter. What matters is your attitude. You can be going through a super hard thing in your life but if you have a good attitude, or a good outlook about it, you will be ok.

I am an optimist. A glass half full kind of girl. I think it is so important to go about everything in life like this. There is a song by a man named Chris Rice. It is called "Lemonade". He says the song is about an optimist falling in love. But, before he sings the song, he tells how usually life hands you lemons and you make lemonade. But, for him, life gave him lemonade. I feel the same way. Life gave me lemonade. I have the most amazing family. I have the best friends. And I have a Father in Heaven who loves me. What more could I ask for.
