I am so lucky :D

I swear I am the luckiest person ever!!! Let me list for you why :D

#1- I have one of the best jobs in the world! I work for a company called Chrysalis that helps people with special needs. But, it's not like a job really. It's like I am going to hang out with my friends. They are the sweetest most funny ladies ever! Getting paid is just a nice bonus. I really feel like they are here to bless me. I can't help but feel so good being with them. I leave our house at the end of a shift happy and I look forward to going to work. I learn so much and feel so good. They have a special effect on people. You can't help but be happy and want to smile all of the time!!! I feel like I have happy tears always ready to spill out because I walk into the house and feel an immediate love and peace. They help me to feel better about myself and help me forget my troubles.

#2- I have some of the best friends ever!
I was going to let a friend borrow some thread and a needle to finish his halloween costume and ended up staying with him for like a bajillion hours helping him sew it all together. Then trying it on and finishing the spray paint job. 3:30 am and one Wal Mart run later the costume was finished. It was the quality time spent laughing and helping that made it so much fun! It also helped me practice my being domestic skills :D

I also locked myself out of my apartment/room yesterday. In order to get back in I can either pay 25 dollars or just wait until the office opens on monday and they can open it for me. One of my friends was instantly telling me to stay with her. I am crashing at her place for the weekend. She is so amazing! I don't know what I would do without her! We talk a lot, we laugh even more than we talk, and we are there for each other. I haven't laughed as much lately as we did last night and this morning. I was laughing so hard and for so long that I was practically bawling and falling off of her bed. She is the best!

#3 I have such an amazing family! I could say so much about every single one of them. A couple stand out lately. I have the most amazing nieces and nephews. I woke up a few mornings ago to my niece Lucy calling me on the phone. We talked for a few minutes and she told me a "once upon a time" story. I just love her. She made my day! The other is my little sister Julie. I think after sharing a room with her for a few years and seeing her all of the time makes being apart really hard. We have had many a late night phone conversations over the past week. We talk about everything and she updates me on life back home. She is the best! I miss her like crazy!! I love and appreciate her so much! She is seriously one of the best examples to me and I try my best to be like her.

I found it!!!

I finally found it!!! So ever since I had done my laundry last week I couldn't find one of my bras. I looked everywhere like everyday. I seriously could think of where it might be. So, tonight after work I am gathering up my clothes to do laundry again. In my closet I moved aside my temple dress to check for all the clothes and I thought the bottom of the dress felt too heavy. What could it be? But my lost bra of course. Somehow in the wash the bra had gotten hooked on a piece of string up inside the dress and didn't fall out when I hung it up to dry. Ha ha ha I am glad I found it :D

So I am actually posting a recipe in here :D it is a really simple and yummy way to make cookies. Just get a box of cake mix. Any kind works but something chocolate is definitely the best. Pour dry mix in a bowl. Add one egg and 2/3 cup oil and mix all together. Put in little amounts on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 for anywhere between 6-8 ish minutes. I have discoverd it kind of depends on the oven. I cooked them for 6 in my apartment and then they were still soft ish and delicious. Enjoy :D

Are you serious!!!

So I had decided that I was going to donate plasma. We could all use extra money right? Right! So after I had been a the plasma for about two and a half hours and gone through registering stuff I find out that I will never be able to donate plasma because of the bone graft I had done in the gums of my mouth a few years ago. It is a BIOMAT company wide policy that if you have any kind of bone in your body that is not human you can never donate. The bone in my gums is cow bone. I thought that this was/is pretty ridiculous. Oh well. . . . life moves on now.

Moved in. . . ish

I am mostly moved in, kinda! I got everything moved into my apartment that I have in Logan already and in a few hours my mom and dad and sister Julie are coming down with more of my stuff and to take me shopping! I can't wait to see them. And to be all officially moved in and everything. Things will be kinda tough for a while but I am so happy and excited!

In a way I am starting a new life. It makes me nervous, but excited. I can't wait to meet new people, make more friends, and see where life in Logan takes me. It will be a grand adventure for sure!

All about attitude :D

"True happiness isn't when everything's perfect. . . it's when you can see perfection through the flaws." I truly believe this. There comes a time in everyone's life when bad things may happen, you may hit a rough patch, or things just flat out may not go as planned. But, that doesn't matter. What matters is your attitude. You can be going through a super hard thing in your life but if you have a good attitude, or a good outlook about it, you will be ok.

I am an optimist. A glass half full kind of girl. I think it is so important to go about everything in life like this. There is a song by a man named Chris Rice. It is called "Lemonade". He says the song is about an optimist falling in love. But, before he sings the song, he tells how usually life hands you lemons and you make lemonade. But, for him, life gave him lemonade. I feel the same way. Life gave me lemonade. I have the most amazing family. I have the best friends. And I have a Father in Heaven who loves me. What more could I ask for.
